Looklove: Coat over leather jacket

22 Feb 2012

I'm feeling so tired of my jumpers and cardigans, but I don't feel like freezing my butt off while walking to school either! Having the same problem lately? Layer like these fashionable ladies: Put on you favourite biker jacket in stead of a cardi and just put you winter coat on top! I will definately be sporting this look...Well, that is if I ever get from behind my desk! All my teachers seem to have gone cookoo and are just piling up assignments, interviews, vocabulary tests, and so on! So I'm kinda stressed out lately. But enough of my blabbing now! Please enjoy:

Looklove: Staying warm in summer shades

13 Feb 2012

While the shops, magazines and blogs are filled with summery frocks, reality remains quite chilly, if not icy cold. I for one can't wait to dress myself in the purest hues of white and pretty pastels. Time to find some fresh summer-inspired, but winter-appropriate inspiration I figured!

I love the different layers of white and muted grey tones in this look (lots of layers=toasty warm) topped of with a minty pastel scarf and some nude boots. I also adore the length of the coats, very chic and warm at the leg-front too!

Do you like this look? And what are your ideas for transitional dressing?

Currently craving: floral pants

8 Feb 2012

floral pants
1. Thakoon, 2. Emma Cook, 3. Asos, 4. Zara, 5. J.Crew

Printed pants seem to be popping up like mushrooms all over the new collections. My personal favourite? The floral print! Of course the real daredevils amongst us are wearing them with the floral shirt and blazer to match, but I'm afraid that look is a bit to prominent for me. I would rather opt for a simple white or black tee and a biker jacket.

I've got my eye on the pair from Asos. What's your favourite?

Paris Couture

2 Feb 2012

Ah yes my dears, finally I am back in the game! I can't tell you how I happy I was to sit behind my computer and scroll through my blogroll and pinterest! And of course: take a peek at the spring 2012 couture collections showed in Paris last week. I gotta tell ya, I consumed this little portion of fashion like a junkie who handn't had a shot in a friggin' loooong time! No need to say I enjoyed ;) Take a look at my favourites:

I'm a bit sad to admit it, but I have to say Chanel was a slight disappointing to me (I swear that hardly never happens to me). Call me oldfashioned or uptight but blue frocks in an airoplane with mohawk hairdos just don't have that couture aura for me...

What did you think of the Chanel collection? And what were your favourite shows?
